Brea, California - (August 18, 2004) - Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc. (EAS), a leading provider of emergency medical services, announced today that it has been awarded a new contract to continue serving the needs of the City of Yorba Linda in Orange County, California.
The contract, awarded August 17th by a unanimous vote of the City Council includes an initial term of five years, followed by a single, five-year renewal period, for a total possible length of ten years.
EAS has been the City’s exclusive ambulance transport provider since 1986 and previously provided backup service to the City as early as 1978.
