Training & Education

In-service training is a beneficial activity at Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc. We not only take care of our own, but we generously provide quality continuing education for caregivers across the spectrum. Members of the medical community and private citizens have benefited from numerous courses offered in conjunction with the American Red Cross and American Heart Association over the years at Emergency. In-service training at Emergency is a corporate passion. Our Medical Director, assigned Prehospital Education Director, Authorized Instructors and others apply a wealth of experience and knowledge to the curricula and methodology of our training.

We have reached thousands of people, providing useful knowledge about emergency medical services, CPR, First-Aid, Automatic Electronic Defibrillators, 9-1-1 Awareness, and much more. You’ll also see Emergency personnel at most community events, fundraisers, and large-scale gatherings in the areas we serve.

Emergency continues its active participation with police and fire service agencies and our local high schools in bringing the very successful “Every Fifteen Minutes” program to our local high school juniors and seniors. This program has resulted in a measurable reduction in traffic-related tragedies in this age group and we are proud to be a part of this program. We not only give of our financial resources, we give of our time.

Employee Education

Emergency employees can logon to our training site at: http://www.24-7ems.com.

We also offer many continuing education classes for our employees and local health care professionals. These courses require “hands-on” involvement and can only be taken in the classroom setting.

CPR Classes (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)

Emergency maintains a dedicated CPR training program, which provides new and ongoing CPR training courses to nursing facilities, high schools, and other groups throughout the cities of Brea, Placentia and Yorba Linda.

If you have questions about our CPR program, please fill out the form on our Contact Information Page.

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (required for all healthcare providers) is $50 and our Heartsaver CPR (which includes CPR, AED and First Aid) is $60.
